If the Play Store will not install

Installing the downloaded file

Installed from Google Play? You're done — open the app and sign in. The steps below are only for the downloaded file, and Android will show a security warning for it. That is expected.

    Download the file for your phone

    Tap "Play Store won't install it?" further up this page, then pick your file. If you are not sure which, take the first — it fits almost every phone.

    Open the file

    When the download finishes, tap the notification, or open your Downloads folder and tap the file that ends in .apk.

    Expect an "Install blocked" warning

    Android shows this for any app installed from outside the Play Store. It is expected here.

    Allow installation from this source

    Tap "Settings" in the warning, then turn on "Allow from this source". The wording varies by phone — look for "Install unknown apps".

    Tap Install

    Go back and tap Install. If it says "App not installed", you have the wrong file for your phone — go back and try the next one.

    Log in and start parking

    Open the app and sign in with the Employee ID and password your manager gave you.
